Breaking: Zamfara Govt imposes curfew on Jangebe, neighbouring communities

Sequel to attack on government officials, journalists and security operatives in Jangebe town, the Zamfara state Government has imposed a dusk-to-dawn curfew effective Thursday.

The Government suspended all commercial activities until further notice.

The state commissioner for information says the move is to prevent further breach of peace.

The move according to the government is to ensure safety of lives and property of citizens is provided.

Security agencies were charged to ensure total compliance to the directive.
